Here at Nurture, we believe that our bodies are a beautiful place – home to our heart, our mind and our soul.


 

They deserve to be cared for, nurtured and loved. By connecting mind, body and breath, our aim at Nurture, is to guide you towards a feeling of joy and comfort in your own skin.

We believe that yoga should be accessible for every single person. Whether a seasoned practitioner or completely new to yoga, our wide range of classes welcome everybody. You are always encouraged to move and feel exactly the way that is right for you, without expectation or judgement. No competition, no ego, just a shared celebration of individuality with kindness and compassion.

Yoga is a quest towards union of mind, body and breath. A movement meditation that allows you to still your mind and look inward. With a shared practice, yoga can also create a community, a union with others and recognition of our connection to one another and all of life.

We’ve simplified the names of our classes to make it easy for you to find your yoga but all our classes acknowledge a traditional yoga path. The best way to find your own path is to try the classes that appeal to you the most.

~ Kids Yoga - £6 for one child and £4 for each additional child

Pregnancy Yoga

As well as classic yoga poses, you'll focus on positions for labour, breathing and relaxation techniques. This class will nurture you physically and emotionally from 12 - 42 weeks +, regardless of your fitness level. No experience of yoga is necessary. The class is a time to relax, focus on your new baby and prepare for birth, it’s also a great opportunity to meet other expectant mums.

Each woman is different, every birth is different but whatever your plan, or your experience, the more you know your body, the more you can trust and relax when the day comes Yoga classes begin with a warm-up session to stretch your back, arms and legs. After that, postures will help to boost your strength and endurance. Classes usually end with a relaxation or guided hypnobirthing mediation session to help you to wind down and feel refreshed.

Slow Down Sunday Yoga

Slow Down Sunday Yoga class is a gentle, meditative journey designed to bring you back to a state of inner calm and tranquility, preparing you for the week ahead.

Join us for a blissful hour of unhurried movement, deep breathing, and mindful stretching. A chance to release tension and restore balance, allowing yourself to sink into each pose at your own pace.

Guided by soothing music and gentle cues, this class invites you to reconnect with your breath and body. This class is open to all levels, welcoming beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.

Slow down Sunday is a morning of pure soothing magic for the body, mind and soul. A chance to slow down, unwind and rebalance.

A New Month Celebration

A new month is a new chapter in our lives that is just beginning to unfold, a story yet to be written.

On the first Friday evening of every month we gather as a community to honour beginning of this new cycle. The evening will entail: Gentle yoga stretches, dancing, poetry, journaling, story telling, and an amazing music playlist that is guaranteed to get you movin’ and groovin’.

This is an evening of pure joy and magic for soul. A chance to welcome a new month in the year and dance the night away, an evening of pure magic to mark this next chapter in your life!

Yoga Flow

In these classes, we will flow fluidly from one pose to the next repeating creative sequences as a movement meditation. Suitable for everyone, these classes will leave you feeling relaxed yet energised.

These will be classes taught in the Mandala, Embodied and/or Vinyasa traditions

Candlelight Yoga

This class is a slow, flowing movement meditation combined with deeper, longer holds with use of props.

Expect to unwind, feel freedom of movement and complete relaxation. This class is taught by the beauty of candle light.

Poetry, stories, yoga, music and deep relaxation are all guided into this session. An hour of candlelight magic.

Sacred Rest with Sound Healing

Be transported into a deep restorative meditation and welcome in the healing powers of sound. Rebecca will guide you through this therapeutic session to restore balance in the body and mind. Suitable for all.
