Spring Equinox Celebration Workshop

  • Nurture Saddleworth (map)

The Earth has the ability to constantly regenerate and restore herself through her seasonal cycles of birth, growth, death and incubation. Each season brings gifts, opportunities and beauty into our lives in so many different ways.

Celebrating and marking the seasons helps us to be part of the natural cycles and brings us into a deeper relationship with the Earth. By deepening our relationship with the Earth's cycles, we see that they are our cycles too. We take this time to connect back to the magic of the seasons and the nature within.

We have a rich heritage of Earth-traditions that have been handed down to us from our ancient past, coming from a time when humans lived much closer to the Earth than we do today.

Each of the workshops will give you an opportunity to celebrate each season and connect back to the wilderness within, letting in our intuitive responses and catching the inspiration that rises from within us.

First workshop date: Sunday 6th March: Spring Equinox celebration

Spring Equinox Celebration: 2-5pm £35

The Spring Equinox is centered around rebirth & growth. It is the arrival of spring and the celebration of the Earth coming out of hibernation.

The Spring Equinox is a festival of awakening, and rebirth.

The dark months are now over & we’re moving into the warmth of the light. (The sun will continue to grow until the Summer Solstice, when it begins its turn inward again.)

With the Spring Equinox your spirit is waking up with new ideas & new dreams for your life. It’s fresh, warm energy has the power to make you feel alive & inspired.

The inspiring Spring Equinox energy is encouraging you to be reborn and embrace this new beginning.

Join me to honour and celebrate the seasonal changes.

The celebration of the spring equinox will entail:

A guided walk through nature to begin to align yourself to the seasonal changes. (optional barefoot and a little paddle through the river)

Mindful foraging to create a seasonal center piece.

A slow soulful yoga class

Guided Yoga Nidra

Ending with Journaling inspired by this time of new beginnings, and rebirth.

Each Earth festival is an opportunity to pause, to look at what we are feeling and what we can do to help the Earth regenerate and heal. Each festival is an opportunity to reaffirm new directions and let go of old negative emotional patterns that no longer help our progress.
